Frequently Asked Questions

Do you “crack” people?

Dr. Nikki uses a variety of techniques to get you feeling and functioning your best!  Her primary form of adjusting uses an instrument called an Activator.  This is a spring loaded device with a rubber tip on the end. The instrument is used to deliver gentle and specific adjustments to people of all ages! This style of adjusting does not create the stereotypical “cracking” sound associated with manual chiropractic adjustments.

Once I start care, do I have to keep coming forever?

Have you heard that once you start going to a chiropractor, you have to go forever?  We wouldn’t say you HAVE to come forever… but we definitely recommend it! While many patients start care with us because they have a health concern or unpleasant symptom, they often keep coming on a regular basis long after their concerns have resolved.

The reality is that stress is an unavoidable part of life that overtime will cause symptoms to show up in the body (think things like pain, reduced immune function and digestive issues.) Consistent chiropractic care helps your body adapt better to life's stressors keeping you feeling and functioning better long term!!

Does it hurt?

Adjustments are gentle and specific and rarely cause discomfort.

Will I get adjusted on my first visit?

Our office prides ourselves on giving care that is specific to each patients needs, this requires us to review all information gathered during the first visit before performing an adjustment.  Typically, the first adjustment takes place on the second visit, after Dr. Nikki has reviewed the findings from the initial visit and developed a specific care plan.

Do you accept my insurance?

We are not in network with any insurance companies, which means we are a self-pay office, allowing us to treat your needs, not what the insurance company says you SHOULD need. We can provide you with the receipts necessary to submit to your insurance company if you are eligible for out-of-network benefits.

What does Chiropractic Care cost?

Our New Patient appointments are performed over two visits, the first visit is $110 and the second visit is $50.

Who do we work with?
